NATURE FIRST: MATRIX OF TANGIBLE METHODS AND DATA SOURCES IN-USE

This project deliverable provides a comprehensive baseline assessment of conservation objectives, activities, and evaluation methods at the project field sites. It identifies current practices, gaps, and challenges to act as a starting point for the solutions offered. It includes a detailed methodology, a matrix in spreadsheet form, and an interview guide for data collection.

NATURE FIRST: ECOSYSTEM BASEMAPS

The "Four Ecosystem Basemaps" deliverable details methods for biodiversity assessment and monitoring in conservation areas. It includes two main methods: the Ecosystem Basemaps, which provide essential environmental input data for creating Digital Twins, risk and suitability maps, and habitat maps; and the Habitat Mapping Model, which uses Earth Observation technologies and machine learning to semi-automatically identify and map habitats of community interest. The document also includes 26 datasets to support these methods.
